Gap Analysis

The Gap Analysis screen allows you to view the workforce plan and examine the Demand versus Supply gap across 5 slides

1. Demand vs supply line chart

This slide contains a line chart displaying:

1. Overall Demand FTE by planning period
2. Internal Demand FTE by planning period (if an External Workforce Initiative has been added)
3. Supply FTE by planning period
4. Data points indicating Deficit or Surplus FTE by period

2. Demand vs supply heatmap

This slide contains a heatmap showing surplus and deficit in supply FTE by planning period for each role cluster

3. Demand vs supply scenarios

When using the Compare Plans option this chart will enable the comparison of the current plan Demand to multiple Supply scenarios

It contains:

1. Current plan Demand FTE
2. Current plan Internal Demand FTE (if an External Workforce Initiative has been added)
3. Current plan Supply FTE
4. Compared plan supply FTE

4. Supply vs demand scenarios

When using the Compare Plans option this chart will enable the comparison of the current plan Supply to multiple Demand scenarios

It contains:

1. Current plan Supply FTE
2. Current plan Demand FTE
3. Current plan Internal Demand FTE (if an External Workforce Initiative has been added)
4. Compared plan Demand FTE

5. Demand vs supply gap summary

This chart is a combination of both slide 1 and 2 on the same slide

No editing is possible on this screen. Any changes required should be conducted within the Planning Slides

Compare Plans

When completing gap analysis it is possible to compare multiple plans to view different demand or supply scenarios

To compare plans within Gap analysis:

1. Select the Compare plans button
2. This will open the plan selection window
3. Select the plans to be compared (up to 3 plans may be selected)
4. Select Go to view gap analysis with selected plans
