Completing The Plan
Once the previous steps have been completed to create the plan the next step is for each of the delegated contributors to complete their plan and for the approvers to review and approve the plan within the Workforce Planning Pack
Workforce Planning Pack
The plan is completed in Orgvue Workforce Planning within a pack containing 7 slides

Initially Slide 1 will show:
- Target FTE
- Planned FTE which will be the same as Initial FTE
- Supply FTE will show the effect of any known joiners and leavers to base FTE if the
Supply Toggle
is selected
Slide 2 will show the initial organization structure with all positions appearing as Unchanged
While slide 3 will show a combination of slide 1 and 1 within a multi slide
Modelling of the plan should be done on either slide 1, 2, or 3 by adding or removing positions as required to meet the Target FTE by planning period
The following three images of slides 1,2, and 3 show new positions added
Slide 4 allows you to review the positions changed in your plan and also view any validation errors
The affected node can either be edited on slide 1 to 3 or directly on the validation worksheet page by entering or editing the affected data cell
Once the errors are corrected the validation slide will show no errors
Slide 5 shows the impact of the modelled changes on FTE and cost
Slide 6 provides an Action Plan Gantt Chart summarizing action dates for new positions, closed positions and backfills due to known leavers
Finally, slide 7 gives you an exportable list of all actions modelled in your plan
Saving the Plan
Whilst modelling the plan you should regularly save progress which will allow you to leave the plan and return to continue editing
To save current progress simply select the Save
button in the corner of any slide
Submitting the Plan
Once you have completed the modelling of the plan it should then be submitted for approval
To submit your plan:
- Select the
Submit
button from any slide to open the submission window - Enter any comments to support the submission
- Select
Submit
The process of submitting your plan will change the status to submitted, and you will be unable to make any further edits to the plan
The submission process does not however send any notification to the approver for your plan, so you should notify them directly that the plan has been submitted
Approving or Rejecting the Plan
Once a plan has been submitted by a Contributor the Approver is then able to review the plan using the same slides and either Approve, Reject using the buttons or make further edits
Reviewing multiple plans
It is possible to view multiple plans in the same pack by:
- Selecting the required plans from the Position Planning Screen
- The number of selected plans will be shown
- Select
View selected
This will open a combined view of the selected plans
- The plans will available as
Read Only
- Use the back button to exit the combined plans view
