Tags

Tags may be used with datasets, views, drafts, packs and properties to aid filtering and searching both in Setting and Workspace

These take the form of free text that is entered on the relevant metadata screen

This text may then be searched for on the Workspace Homescreen

Functional Tags

In addition to free text tags a number of Orgvue functional tags exist that are used to provide specific functionality

aggregate Text Properties Enables tagged property to be used in filter for a View Filter nodes in a view
archived Dataset Views Drafts Moves tagged item to Archive tab of dataset list Archive a dataset
noclone Property When cloning a Node any property tagged noclone will be left blank Cloning a node
index Property Added to Parent ID property to show ghost nodes in a view Show Ghost nodes in a view
filter-view:{role} Dataset Added to a dataset to enable Read-Only permission to a filtered version of the dataset Create Dataset Prefilter
filter-update:{role} Dataset Added to a dataset to enable Update permission to a filtered version of the dataset Create Dataset Prefilter
filter-edit:{role} Dataset Added to a dataset to enable Modify permission to a filtered version of the dataset Create Dataset Prefilter
Update-values:{role} Dataset Added to a dataset to provide defined roles with restricted Update access that allows only allows existing nodes to be updated. Nodes may not be added, or deleted Dataset Permissions

Filter tags once applied, are managed in the Custom permissions section on the Dataset Metadata screen

Property Permission Tags

Permission tags are used to enable permission settings at property level
