Survey Admin 1.14 Release Notes
Welcome
We're delighted to introduce you to Survey Admin 1.14. This release includes our latest survey; Team Competency Survey, the ability to include the manager themselves in a team survey, updates to the Survey Admin homescreen, and several small but useful feature improvements and bug fixes.

Expansions
Team Competency Survey
Competency surveys can now be sent to a managers to complete on behalf of their teams. This reduces the organization impact of Competency Analysis. To keep it simple, the survey and set-up closely resemble the Team Competency Survey and will be familiar to those who have used Team Surveys in the past.
How it works
When creating a new survey:
- Select the 'Actuals' card for survey intent
- Choose the 'Competency' survey type
- Select the 'Team Competency Survey' sub-type
This survey allows managers to link skills/ competencies to each of their direct reports as well as provide a proficiency level for each skill/ competency.

What does it look like?
Improvements
Include Manager
You now have more control than ever over your team surveys with the ability to include the team manager conducting the survey so that they can self-assess in addition to providing skills/ competency data on their team. If the 'Include manager' feature is activated and the manager's manager is also surveyed, then the manager higher in the hierarchy will not be asked to assess any direct reports who are themselves managers. This helps avoid duplication of data.
How it works
In order to include the manager in a survey, the administrator must:
- Ensure the dataset is hierarchical and correctly structured
- Enable the 'Include manager' toggle on the settings card of the survey config page

It is now easier than ever to find your surveys with our new Survey Admin Homescreen layout. You can now find your surveys at a glance with surveys split into their own sections by status (Active, Draft, or Closed)
